  • Company created in 2019 out of a growing concern by the founders that global climate change is accelerating.
  • Goal of CSP is to provide affordable solar electricity as one way environmentally committed churches can shrink their carbon footprints and respond to God’s mandate to be good stewards.
  • As a Houston based business, our focus is on Houston and Austin area churches.
  • As a for-profit business Covenant can harness the benefits in the US tax code that encourage investment in “green” energy. This financial tool is not available to non-profit institutions.

The Covenant Business Model

  • Enter into a multi-year operating lease based upon a well-defined project with specific performance targets.
  • Provide financing, manage the installation and monitor/ maintain the solar system over life of agreement.
  • Transition the system with years of remaining life to the church at the termination of the contract.
